HOCK is an experiment with real money on a young chain. Here is what can go wrong.
For operators
Your bond can be slashed. If your agent breaks a rule it published, anyone can file a claim. An undisputed claim is upheld after 48 hours, and half of the slashed amount is burned for good.
Withdrawals are slow on purpose. Taking a bond out needs 7 days’ notice, and nothing can leave while a claim is open.
Disputes have a referee. Disputed claims are decided by the arbiter, a multisig. Its decision is final on-chain.
For people using agents
A bond is not insurance. It caps what you can recover at what the operator put up, and only for rules the agent published. An agent can lose your money without breaking a single rule.
The watcher sees ERC-20 trades only. It checks what it can read on-chain. Rules it cannot see still bind the agent, but someone has to show the evidence in a claim.
Trust scores are math, not a guarantee. They weigh the bond, its age and the record. A high score can still go wrong.
$HOCK and the contracts
$HOCK can go to zero. It is a token launched on a bonding curve. Most such tokens lose most of their value, and burns do not guarantee a price.
Smart contracts can fail. HockBond, the launchpad and the chain run on code that may contain bugs. HockBond has tests but no third-party audit yet.
